Save Your Marriage. Save Your Dignity. Now, You Can Finally Take Control of Your Life.

It Starts With A Thought

Thoughts are things, just as a table is a thing. Everything we do has some effect on something or someone. You know that you become whatever you think about on a regular basis. Your actions are a direct result of whatever you allow yourself to think about. You are either moving in the direction you want your life to take, or your habits are taking you in the direction you never really intended or wanted to go. In order to get your life on the right track the first thing you must do is learn to control your own thoughts.

Dont be defeated by your addiction to porn. Ill help you overcome it.

Don't be defeated by your addiction to porn. I'll help you overcome it.

It does you no good whatsoever to harbor animosity or ill will towards yourself for any past behaviors, be they real or imagined. The first thing you must do if you want to break free of your addiction is to forgive yourself completely for your past failures. The past is past, no matter how much you may want to, you can’t change it. You can, however, beginning today, change your future.

Many scientists believe that every experience, every sensory input, be it through your eyes, ears, nose, taste, or touch, every event of your life—positive and negative—is recorded in your subconscious mind. We can think of it as a giant movie library or hard-drive of our lives. Except that this movie library doesn’t just have moving pictures and sound, but also the tastes, smells, and our feelings, which we experienced during these events, permanently recorded. You must take the step of not allowing these thoughts in your mind any longer. Impossible you say? Not at all, as many thousands have been successful at doing this.

As difficult as it may seem, and as many times as you may have already failed at trying, you must stop entertaining pornographic images in your thoughts. Many have succeeded at this fight by understanding that the part of your brain that is used to feeding off these pornographic images is “the beast!” The beast isn’t you. You are not fighting yourself. The beast exists in his own domain and he wants his fix now. The beast that only wants its fix of stimulants. The stimulants could be drugs, alcohol, or something else. In the case of porn addiction it’s the powerful chemicals, endorphins, etc that are released during sexual orgasm. When you take up your fight against the beast you no longer are fighting yourself. When you reprimand the beast you are not engaging in self recrimination. You have the ability to control your thoughts. It is only by doing this that you can begin to control and enjoy your life once again. It is not an easy fight, but it is one that can be won.
